		Even when you are as fortunate as I am to have my own office to write, sometimes you just need a change in scenery to nurture your muse.
		Recently I had the good fortune of joining four other area writers and visiting Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada.
		As you can see, the Canadian Rockies are breathtakingly beautiful this time of year.
		This inspirational view was just outside of the house we stayed in.
		Each morning we had a friendly reminder of how many wild animals roam freely in the park.
		The foliage color was splenda.
		This fall as been warm as well as colorful, with much of the water still open, not having frozen over yet.
		We walked past this sparkling creek each morning on the way to breakfast. The picture really doesn't capture the beauty of it.
		We stayed at the Palisades Centre, a government owned training facility, available to non-profit groups during the off-season.
		Two of the main buildings of the centre. Meals and housekeeping are available services that we took advantage of.
		Our smaller house, peaking through the trees. We had breakfast at the main lodge, but stayed in our house writing the balance of the time.
		Four wonderful writers that you'll want to watch for: Marylin Zayshley, Taryn Taylor, Michelle Beattie, and Michele Viveiros.
		And while it was great to be away in such a beautiful location and with other writers, as they say, there's no place like home.
